What is included in the price?

Where can I find the best airfare prices?

Please fill out this FORM – this is for airfare only questions. For hotel stays, Click [HERE]. For transfer questions Click [HERE]. AIRFARE, HOTEL and TRANSFERS will not be available until May 2017. You may fill out the forms now, but we will not get back to you until next year.

How do I get to the ship from the airport?

Transfers may be purchased from the port city airport to the ship and from the ship to the port city airport on day of embarkation and disembarkation only; and between airport to hotel and hotel to airport. Transfers are available to Flight Ease guests and to guests who have independent flight plans.

Guests with independent flight arrangements who wish to purchase transfers must advise Royal Caribbean Line of their flight information at least 14 days prior to departure by completing Online Check-in. Unused transfers are not refundable.

Can I stay in Copenhagen, Denmark before or after the cruise?

We will be negotiating group rates with several major hotels Copenhagen, Denmark. If you are traveling from the U.S. – we strongly suggest you arrive a day early.

What time do we need to board the ship?

Due to new government regulations requiring cruise lines to submit final departure manifests at least 60 minutes prior to sailing, guests are requested to complete Online Check-in no later than 3 days prior to their cruise. If you do not complete Online Check-in 3 days prior, you will be required to complete this process at the pier at least two hours prior to the published sailing time. Please note: All guests must be checked-in and onboard the ship no later than 90 minutes prior to the published sailing time or you will not be permitted to sail.

Are meals included in the price?

All meals (except at the specialty restaurants) are included. That also includes room service!

Using WiFi, Cell Phones and Internet on the Serenade of the Seas

You can access the internet on the Serenade of the Seas — there is WiFi on the entire ship. There is also an internet cafe on the Serenade of the Seas.

The Serenade of the Seas is WiFi enabled throughout the ship including cabins. The Serenade of the Seas does provide PC’s in RC ONLINE on Deck 4. However, if you want to bring your own, the entire ship is WiFi enabled. VOOM, Royal Caribbean’s High Speed Internet, is currently available on the Serenade of the Seas. Voom is considered to be six times faster than typical cruise WiFi. VOOM also permits VOIP applications such as Skype and Facebook! The cost for VOOM is 15 USD per device per day, with a 50% discount for the second device. Non VOOM WiFi costs 20 USD per device per day, and does not permit VOIP applications.

Choices for making and receiving phone calls and text messages (SMS) while onboard the Serenade of the Seas.

Cell phone roaming is enabled on the Serenade of the Seas, however, the system can be pricey as the price plans feature international roaming rates and data charges (this can be very expensive). Contact your mobile phone operator to ensure that your account is activated for international roaming and inquiry as to per minute rates and data charges.

Serenade of the Seas WiFi, Cell Phones & Internet Tips:

  • Crown and Anchor Society members do receive WiFi discounts. If you are a Crown and Anchor Society member, and you purchase WiFi online before you cruise, you will pay full WiFi prices but receive your discount in credits onboard.
  • It doesn’t matter whether you bring your own computer or use the computers on the ship. The price is the same.
  • Prices are per device.
  • Prices are per device.
  • Even with higher speeds, if you are sending emails, get all of your writing done offline and then just connect when you actually send them.
  • VOOM is not available on Transatlantic or repositioning cruises.
  • Internet speed will vary, and will depend upon how many people are accessing WiFi, where your ship is located, and weather conditions.
  • VOOM is currently available on specified Royal Caribbean ships sailing to the Caribbean, Asia, and the Mediterranean.

Is there a Payment Plan?

Yes, the deposit of $450/pp – Standard Staterooms; $550/pp – Balcony Staterooms; $650/pp – Suites is due at the time of booking and is non-refundable. Final balance is due JANUARY 15, 2017. More information on Payment Plans here.

Are Visa's or Passports Required for Travel?

For United States Citizens:No visa is needed. A valid passport is required.

For Non-United States Citizens: You must have a valid passport and any necessary visas for travel. Please carefully verify the existing identification requirements for your particular travel situation with your local consulate. In addition, non-U.S. citizens who have previously been admitted to the United States for permanent residence must carry their Permanent Residence Card (Form I-551), commonly known as a Green Card. Resident aliens not in possession of this must obtain one at the nearest office of the United States Immigration Service.

What do I have to pay for while I am on the cruise?

Anything in the gift shops, shore excursions, alcohol, sodas and the specialty restaurants.

What should I pack?

We suggest that you have layers for the days in port and at sea. Whatever you wear at home that you are comfortable in is what you can wear when at port. We suggest resort casual for dining as no jeans, shorts, T-shirts or swimwear are allowed in the dining areas.

Is there a gym on the ship?

Do I need a Passport?

For States Citizens: A valid passport is required for all travel outside of the United States. Passports must not expire within six months after your date of travel in order to be considered valid.

For Non-United States Citizens: You must have a valid passport and any necessary visas for travel. What do you do when the ship is in port?

There are a host of shore excursions that you can choose from. You can sign up onboard, or signup online before you travel. If you stay onboard you can relax by the pool, read a book or just hang out.

Will I get seasick?

Chances are you will not. However, if you tend towards motion sickness, you can purchase something over the counter or see your Doctor before you go.
