Login to your Flying Dutchman Travel Reservation Account (or create a new one) before finalizing your reservation. A confirmation email will be sent to you as soon as your essential personal information has been verified. If you made your reservation over the phone or have forgotten your user name or password, please click the “Forgot Your User Name or Password” link at the bottom of the page.

Yes, you have 30 minutes to book your stateroom before it returns back to inventory.

Before you proceed to booking, make sure you have the following information for all of your guests:

As stated in the Terms and Conditions, due to the nature of this event, all payments and deposits on the Dave Koz Cruise are NON-REFUNDABLE and therefore, we highly recommend travel insurance to offset this risk. Travel Insurance is NOT included in your Dave Koz Cruise Reservation. The purchase of insurance is the sole responsibility of each guest sailing and is NOT offered through the Dave Koz Cruise. Dave Koz, Dave Koz Cruises, Bridgeway Entertainment and Flying Dutchmen Travel are not responsible for any losses, including any and all deposits, due to lack of travel insurance.

Holland America’s minimum age to sail unaccompanied on sailings is twenty-one (21). No Guest younger than the age twenty-one (21) will be assigned to a stateroom unless accompanied in the same stateroom by an adult twenty-one (21) years old or older. A guest’s age is established upon the first date of sailing. This age limit will be waived for children sailing with their parents or guardians in connecting staterooms; for underage married couples, and for active duty members of the United States or Canadian military. Certain other restrictions and conditions will apply; such as compliance with the age twenty-one (21) alcohol policy, and proof of marriage for underage couples or proof of active duty military status required.

Pre-Cruise Details

PASSPORTS: VALID Passports are required for this cruise. Be sure to check your passport. It MUST be valid for 6 months after your return. There are no exceptions to this rule!

AUSTRALIAN VISA: Pre Australian Travel Customs requirement.
You must apply for a Australian Visitor Visa valid for 12 months from date of issue. This is a simple online process with a governmental fee of approximately $20 US per person. The required “Electronic Travel Authority” (ETA) is then linked with your air travel allowing to board flights departing the US and from other countries and be granted admission into Australia. The process takes less than 20 minutes online and the ETA is processed and approved electronically immediately. The approved ETA is then partnered with your valid Passport Number.

VISAS: Different countries have different regulations regarding visas, it is your responsibility to know the requirements for travel to Australia.

If your passport was issued from any country other than those listed above, you must check with the consulate for your country to confirm the requirements for travel to Australia.

Casual attire is the order of the day, both on board and ashore. Daytime, it’s basically fine since we know you’re probably headed to the pool or out for a fun Shore Excursion. Casual shorts, jeans, tops and sundresses are welcome everywhere. You can even wear your swimsuit to the poolside grill or the buffet. Resort casual dress gets you into every venue at night too. Some people like to add a jacket, or when celebrating a special occasion, get all decked out. This too is welcome everywhere. And if you’re tired from a long fun day and just want to wear shorts; our buffet is the place for a casual dinner. Some people prefer nice jeans. They’re welcome in many of our restaurants as well, but not in all. Since all suitcases are collected the night before we return home, don’t forget to bring an overnight bag packed with a change of clothes, prescriptions, and need-to-have items.

At the port you will hand over any luggage you wish to check to the porters, and your bags will be delivered directly to your cabin. DON’T PACK YOUR DOCUMENTATION, MEDICATION OR OTHER IMPORTANT ITEMS IN ANY BAG YOU PLAN TO CHECK, AS BAGS MAY TAKE UNTIL 8PM TO ARRIVE TO YOUR CABINS.

Each piece of checked luggage must have a luggage tag listing your name, ship and cabin number. Luggage tags can be printed prior to the cruise during registration for e-documents and additional tags may be obtained at port from the curbside porters. *Please note that curbside porters are not employees of Holland America and it’s customary to tip them $1 per bag.


Due to new government regulations requiring cruise lines to submit final departure manifests at least 60 minutes prior to sailing, guests are requested to complete Online Check-in no later than 3 days prior to their cruise. If you do not complete Online Check-in 3 days prior, you will be required to complete this process at the pier at least two hours prior to the published sailing time. Please note: All guests must be checked-in and onboard the ship no later than 90 minutes prior to the published sailing time or you will not be permitted to sail.

Once On-Board

Internet Access Guests can purchase and connect to satellite internet 24 hours a day on each ship in the Holland America Line fleet, either by accessing our wireless network or utilizing the workstations located in the Explorations Café. Internet Plans vary in price to accommodate individual needs and are interchangeable between the workstations in the Explorations Café and your wireless device. Note that satellite connections may be adversely impacted by physical obstacles such as fjords and inclement weather and the speed is notably slower than shoreside connections. Wireless Internet Service Each Holland America Line vessel offers wireless access throughout the ship. Guests may use their laptop computer or other wireless internet enabled device to purchase and connect to the wireless internet service on board. Explorations Café powered by The New York Times The Explorations Café, powered by The New York Times offers a comfortable, coffee house environment where you can purchase and connect to the internet using provided workstations or by using your own wireless internet device, such as a laptop computer, iPad or mobile phone. AT&T Mobile Packages Guests with AT&T service may choose from a selection of packages offering discounted rates for international calls, texts and data while on board. Mobile Phone Service Holland America, through an agreement with Wireless Maritime Service, proudly offers an advanced roaming network onboard all Holland America ships allowing you to make and receive calls, send and receive text messages and access emails and surf the web while at sea using your own mobile phone and telephone number. The Wireless Maritime Service system is available for use when the ship is in international waters. When user’s phones pick the shipboard signal, their phone will usually display “cellular at sea”, “Ship Roam”or “901-18”. Depending on the handset and the carrier the user may be required to select “Roam” on the handset. We will release the schedule of concerts and events during embarkation. Please know that this is not something we do to torture you…but that the schedule is a delicate balancing act and we want to be sure we have made every necessary change before we release it to you. We don’t want you to miss anything due to having an incomplete or altered schedule!

There are two main Theatre concerts each night, with the same artists performing in each. When you book your cruise, you will be given your dinner time (Early or Late) the opposite will be your show time each night of the cruise.

All performances on the Dave Koz & Friends at Sea Cruise are general admission — seating is first come, first served. Please help to keep ADA seating areas clear for those guests who need special assistance.

Fixed lens camera photography is permitted everywhere on board, but please refrain from flash photography and use of tablets, iPads, selfie sticks, etc. in all indoor venues. Use of drones and audio recording devices will not be permitted at performances.
